James turns 1 !!!!

James is now a fully fledged walker and at 1 year old :) We celebrated James' 1st birthday by throwing a small party at home! James got lots of toys and that just added to the huge pile from christmas!! Lucy had a great time at James' party and we had a good turn out too!!

Netmums!

I have to share Netmums with you all! It is a wonderful site for parents, grandparents and carers! It has local information and advice, there is also selling pages, wanted pages and FREE pages! I have managed to get everything I need (including the kitchen sink) from Netmums and am so happy with it all! I was appointed chairmum for Peterborough central but after having my 2nd baby and being poorly I had to step down, someone else has now taken over and arranges "Meet-ups" for everyone within the local area, I have been to a few and really made some great friends from them too! I made a couple of very special friends from buying things off them too! Netmums has recently reached a million members and is a very popular site! I am happy to share this site with you because it has really helped me to get through lifes struggles as well as life's happy times! Lucy has also made many friends through netmums and we would be lost without it now!

James' dedication! 3rd July 2011

James approaching 6 months and Lucy approaching 2 years!

Wow, time flies! I cannot believe James is already coming to his half-birthday! He is such a cheeky monkey now, chatting too! We got James dedicated yesterday, it was such a beautiful event, he wore a gorgeous suit, waistcoat and cravat! (Photo's to follow)

Lucy is going to be 2 years in less than 2 weeks, it doesn't seem that long ago I was planning her 1st birthday! I have organised EVERYTHING already, pressies are wrapped, pass the parcel and prizes, all the party bags are filled and cake is ordered! I'm a bit of an OCD organiser!

Lucy's 1st birthday party arrives!!!

Well, tomorrow is the big day!! Can't believe how fast it has gone, it's amazing to think that this time next year we will have a 2 year old and a 6 month old! I made a delicious looking trifle today and got crisps! My friend made a load of cupcakes and they look rather yummy too! Tomorrow is gonna be very busy, there's sandwiches to make and pressies to wrap! Not forgetting the hall set-up and inflating a bouncy castle! I am doing face paints at the party too so I need to prepare for that! Will update you all how it goes!
